This festival is not professional at all, they wrote me my movie has been selected and will be screened five days later ! So i must send them my movie very fast and of course, it was very late to could travel and attend the screening. Then, they never give me any updates about the festival and they didn't announce on Internet their lineup for the screening. So i think it is just a online festival and that my movie has not been screened

    Response from festival:

    Dear Anthony,

We would love to get in touch with you personally, to discuss about this matter. Your film was screened in January 2017 in Targu Mures, Transylvania, as part of your participation in the Official Selection and the Official Screenings list. We can guarantee that the festival took place, you can check photos from screenings on the following link: https://www.transylvania-cinema.com/screenings
Also, here you have a news&press page, with media coverage that can, once again, prove the fact that we have screenings: https://www.transylvania-cinema.com/news
Having a inaugural edition in January, we did not have budget to invite filmmakers to the screenings, but the purpose of the festival is to showcase independent content to public, offering you at the same time opportunities to promote your film. Please send us an email in order to explain you in a more detailed manner the ways we can promote your film as part of your participation in the Transylvania Cinema Awards Competition !

Update June 2017: I had a phone call from the festival director, who was extremely kind and very apologetic. He let me know that the festival's website had been hacked. They removed their listing temporarily from FilmFreeway for everyone's safety, and they were unable to get emails to me during that period. After reading my original review (below), he decided to call me from Romania. He apologized profusely for the lack of communication, which was entirely due to the hack. They were very sorry that they couldn't screen my film in the last edition, but they will screen it October. They offered to refund my entry fee for the inconvenience. I hope to attend the festival in October.

Original review: I was notified as having been selected, but have not heard from the festival since then. I've tried emailing them and messaging them through their website, and still no response. It's a disappointment.
