Translucence

“Translucence” explores identity, culture, and transformation using a non-linear narrative to tell the story of a young woman and her multitude forms of self-expression. The moment of self-revelation is both unsettling and transformative, forcing the girl to confront her fears and doubts. As she reflects on her past, present, and future, she discovers that all of these moments are interconnected, forming a collage of dream-like visuals that shape her into her higher self. As she grapples with her own beliefs, the film poses a compelling question: will she be able to shatter the barriers holding her back and transcend her limitations?

"Translucence" is an experimental and abstract non-linear exploration of metamorphosis born from inner conflict. As the project's writer, director, and executive producer, I guide the creative vision and oversee production.
