Director Statement

Transición is a short film dedicated to Women.
What I want to highlight is that ability of women to transform, forgive, decide, understand, help, value and overcome any difficulty and adversity in life. I've done it for us, for women. I believe that we are not represented in a balanced way neither in the culture, nor in the cinema, nor in society and I believe that this has to be corrected. We need the multiple voices and views of women in artistic and non-artistic manifestations. María Barranco, my star actress is a very committed woman, for me it is a gift that she is in my short film and that she is the protagonist.
The LGTBI + world and women are two worlds that look very sideways. I have special sensitivity with this topic, I have lived closely experiences of gay friends and I am a woman, I can tell from my person and from the experience I have lived.
