Director Biography - Chung An Liu

Chung-An is a senior undergraduate student studying Communication at the University of California, San Diego. Growing up, he hadn't the slightest clue of which path to go down. He finally found a source of passion towards the future when his first encountered in film and media studies. He often thought about the coalescing of media in society and how people are unaware of the influence it has on our psyche. He knows what it takes to convey embedded messages through media, not only visually but emotionally. The potential to create a tangible impact on the world fascinates him. His first short, Miles Away, in 2016 had made into the official selection of Cinque Continenti Film Festival in Venosa, Italy. His enthusiasm in film and media has led to his next project, Transient, produced in 2018.
