Born in 1982 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). His films have been
selected at more than hundred film festivals, including Tashkent, Moscow and others.
In 2019, through a vote among several film critics, Said Tulyaganov was selected as one of the Top 5 New Uzbekistani Travel Vloggers by Media Ministry.
In 2021, his film “The back side of the apple” won the Grand Prix and Best Script prizes in the "Movie with the human face" Short Film Festival in Moscow.
In 2022, his film “The cold race” won the more than 10 different international festivals (Kenya International Sports Film Festival, Zagreb International Film Festival, Stanley Film Awards, Hollywood Gold Awards and others).
Said is a student of the Producers department of VGIK.
My film “Train to Varanasi” is highly influenced by the India. I was inspired by my travel to India and decided to make a film about lonely travel in Indian train and about the city of Varanasi.
