Lannea loves art of all forms. She has written and made films her whole life and is excited to see what the film industry has in store for her. She feels that nothing is impossible with film and enjoys films that come from a raw truth with a real story to tell.
Three years ago my family and I lost our home in a fire. Around a year ago, I moved back into my rebuilt home. I feel extremely lucky that I had a secure place to live throughout this process. However, that is not to say the amount of generosity we received from family and friends was not greatly needed and overwhelming. I began writing this film when I was at an extremely delicate place and was very insecure about my home life. Even now, I connect closely to both Rose and Atlas even though they come from polar opposite backgrounds. A lot of my heart and soul has been put into this screenplay and I feel like if nothing else, I have made peace with my past through writing this. I hope this film brings perspective to anyone who reads it, or at least you enjoy a story of love, home, and friendship.
