Director Statement

I traveled through different parts of India, with my companion. From the suburbs to the city center. We used camera lenses to capture different aspects of the city, from the unemployed to the marginalized communities, to the migrants. We follow the paths that bring joy, political consciousness, and hardship. I witness how the city changes and the boundaries that come with it. How accepted are they in different areas of the city, and where are they denied entrance? In other words, how much fairness does their city show them? This is the question that we are trying to answer. As part of an experiment, city residents take part in different parts of the journey in their own city. As we explore new ways and open doors that they have never seen before, the moments they encounter, and the new perspectives they see, become a documentary of our journey. Through these initiatives, the struggle for change begins, and the changes that come with it become visible.
