Director Statement

A ‘town girl’ is every ranch family’s worst fear: that their son will fall in love with a girl who won’t put up with the year-round work and isolation of ranch life… that he’ll take a job for wages in town and never come home. When ranch kids leave, land that’s been in a family for generations is lost forever. It happens every day. In Town Girl, a city girl who’s never had a home meets a boy devoted to a life she never imagined.
