Elmira is a filmmaker whose journey began at age five, capturing stop-motion stories with toys and a phone camera. By seven, she was already discovering the magic of editing, eventually experimenting with a range of software before finding a home in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe tools, and 3D animation platforms. Music has always been a parallel path—she started piano at age three and now composes original scores to accompany her films.
At eleven, Elmira created her first short film, winning Best Videography at the Let’s Be Useful competition. By fifteen, she submitted a second short to the 4th BookTrailer Festival in Azerbaijan, standing out as the youngest director in the competition. After a pause during high school, Elmira returned with a renewed passion for visual storytelling. Now working on student films in Istanbul Beykent University, she continues to develop a voice rooted in emotion, experimentation, and self-taught craft—looking ahead with ambition and love for the cinematic form.
