Response from festival:
Your 1st response to our email was nice: but then went downhill from there...
"Thanks for choosing my documentary, "300 Tires and an Old Sofa," for your film festival. It is a Canada premiere."
Subsequent emails from you, because you didn't understand what we were asking from a 'technical perspective' and the time we needed to tests all the film, you became borderline hostile and 'confused with directions'
From you: I have no idea how to enable "Auto Start" if it's something other than clicking on the "Play" button. You'll have to figure that one out.
A Filmmaker cannot get accepted at a film festival and then deny that film festival the ability to download your screener. How did you expect it to get screened to an audience...?
We need time to test films. We cannot wait until a few days before festival launch to test a film.
You got confused thinking we were asking for your password to Vimeo. You didn't understand other films screened in the same block.
We think in the end, you may have not realized our emails were GROUP EMAILS and that may have led to some of your confusion. We needed to speak to ALL Accepted Filmmakers with the SAME instructions in the SAME email.
So we apologize for that.
If you still think your review was fair and just, please leave it as is.
We appreciate your time and your film on getting trash out of our waters and great youth Volunteers who get that dirty job done.
