Kevin Leal is a Story Artist from New Jersey who graduated from SCAD in 2021 with a BFA in Animation. Between classes, personal projects, and studying film, Kevin has grown a love and drive for cinematic storytelling. This drive is what fueled the visual style for 'Top of the Shelf' along with the message it entails.
Before SCAD, Kevin studied two years of Fine Art at the County College of Morris where he focused on creating realistic pencil renderings. After being introduced to storyboarding, Kevin changed directions and began from the ground up to become a Story Artist.
