Director Statement

My wife is addicted to the "Chills" Youtube videos that purport to show puzzling mysteries from beyond the material world, but look to me a lot like blurry footage of pigeons taken by a camcorder. The earnest sincerity and unique cadence of the narrator never fail to bring a smile to my face. Though this is a parody of the popular "Chills" channel, it is one done with love.

My podcast partners and I came up with a half dozen premises and shot footage for them, much of which I lost in a hard drive accident (Save your work in multiple locations, my friends), but the chance to work with Emlee put me back on track and her input turned this into a much funnier project than that now lost original.

Film is a truly collaborative art and I hope people enjoy the result of the many hands that made this happen.
