Max Werkmeister is a writer/director based in Los Angeles, CA. Max's debut feature Danni and the Vampire (2020) received the Audience Choice Award at the 2020 Nashville Film Festival. Other work includes horror podcast series The Nightstar Specters (2022).
Also a writer/director based in Los Angeles, Phil Montgomery landed in the US by way of Liverpool, England. His crowning achievement to date is composing a single piano track for the aforementioned Nightstar Specters.
Tongue-Tonguin was born of a dozen fertile minds huddled in a room with nothing but gluten-free chips and a goal to make something "relentless". It's weird, it plays musical chairs with genre, and it takes aim at the double standard surrounding depictions of sexuality and violence in film. We hope you enjoy.
