Preston Sadleir was born in Salt Lake City and worked his entire adolescent life in a video store. Growing up around movies instilled an early love and dedication to filmmaking. After film school in Boston he spent a decade in New York City acting on Broadway and Off-Broadway stages. He migrated west to Los Angeles to assume a position in Creative Development at an independent film studio and now works as a freelance Writer/Director/Producer.
Many years ago I had the joy of working alongside legendary playwrights Edward Albee and Charles Mee. Both men became artistic mentors to me and I've always aimed to infuse my filmmaking with their theatrical outlook and artistic surrealism. Absurdist and sometimes messy art can often invite a more complex understanding of what it means to be human. This short film is an exercise in that messy & absurdist method to explore a universal story of love and loss.
