To Touch a Killer

We are hearing more and more that white sharks are not the mindless killers portrayed by the media, Hollywood, and governments. But how far to the other side do sharks go? This one reportedly hung out with boats for several hours, allowing itself to be touched multiple times, possibly even seeking to be touched and showed a "gentle demeanor".
Details:
The nose-ups were filmed/photographed back when the practice was still legal.
The sharks in the video footage are not the same shark in the photos. However, the photos are all of the same white shark stayed with that boat for a few hours.
