Experiencing Interruptions?

To The End

The short film follows the story of Jehiel, a high school basketball enthusiast who nurtures his ardent dream to become a professional player. Every day, Jehiel spends time training, constantly pushing his physical limits and honing his skills with the help of his friends at the club. He is determined to prove his worth in the world of basketball, including at the annual tournament hosted by the FFBB, an event that is highly anticipated in his city. This tournament offers a unique opportunity for young talent, with a scout present, to award a professional license to the most promising player. However, during his penultimate training before the tournament, Jehiel receives a hard blow: his mother is seriously ill. Upset by the news, Jehiel channeled his anger and determination toward one goal: winning the tournament to ensure his mother’s best possible medical care. But life takes a tragic turn, and his mother dies. Jehiel pursues his dream with even more determination. Every dribble and shot becomes acts of dedication and remembrance, while he is fighting for the professional license that would be the consecration of his commitment and filial love. In his quest, Jehiel must not only compete with other talented players, but also demonstrate exceptional physical and mental endurance. Success means more than a victory on the field: it is his way of honoring the memory of his mother.
