Canadian director Christina Estillore grew up in Alberta at the age of 24 enrolled at Marvel Beauty College. Upon graduation, Christina jumped into fashion and photography in order to build her portfolio. When her daughter Maya illustrated her passion for being in the spot light, Christina moved into stage and theatre productions, eventually ushering them both into film. After working as a crew member on several indie shorts, and a few features, this film is her romance debut. Christina will return to her passion of writing and directing, to work on her feature films "Hero" and "Something worth a Memory". Her main career goal is to direct a feature film for that will make people feel something, and want to watch over and over again.
I wrote and directed this film with my husband, because I have seen real men go through strong emotions such as love and loss, and that is what speaks to me as a creative person. I wanted to tell this story in a way that would take the viewer on this unpredictable journey that is reminiscent of "Hallmark". I edited this film to gain understanding of the whole process, and become a better director. I am so grateful to have a lot of "hand holding" in post, I am forever blessed to have worked on this, and I would not trade this experience for the world.
