Director Statement

The sculptures in this project were created from actual bones found on the banks of the Thames River. The director was inspired by the symbolism of the bones coming together for an ephemeral moment, only to return to the water at high tide. In response to this imagery, collaborator Christodoulos Pouroutos wrote a poem exploring time, senescence, and death.
