I love the movies so when my high school drama teacher suggested I write instead of act (I kept changing the lines) I took her advice. However, back in the eighties, it was hard to get a screenplay read so I took a break to gain true life experience by writing a small town golf column, fighting wildfires, trying every sport imaginable, working in an ER, boating, playing drums in several bands and oil painting until I realized what was missing and that was my original passion with screenwriting so I started again and this time, I'm here to stay.

Trivia
Surprise...I was the Hope of America in 5th grade and I am still trying to make it reality. Before the WNBA, I was the only non-college graduate to play on a semi-pro basketball team in 1990 called the Salvation Army Saints (sad to say, it was not a salvation but fun, non the less) I played Little League Football with the boys in 1976/77, first string and undefeated our 2nd year (if only life had been that easy) I was offered a job as the first ever female Assistant Fire Officer for the Ochoco National Forest in 1987 but turned it down to be in a band I thought would go all the way (my biggest regret EVER)
