Erik Jambor took his last short film, GAMALOST, on the film festival circuit in 1996, an experience that eventually led him to co-found the Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham, Alabama. He served as Director for Sidewalk’s first eight years, ran the 2007 BendFilm Festival, and was at the helm of Indie Memphis from 2008-2014. He returned to BendFilm in 2016 as Head of Festival Programming through 2020, when he went in pursuit of a film editing MFA from Ravensbourne University in London. This fall, twenty-five years after GAMALOST, Erik is back on the film festival circuit with TIN SANDWICH BLUES, a short doc about his blues harmonica playing dad.
