Time/Less
The past couple semesters I have been working hard on a film called “Time/less”. I shot, directed, wrote, and edited for this film. Time/less is an abstract film revolving around one main character who faces many obstacles, some of them dream-like and some of them action packed. Like an abstract painting this film has no real beginning or end but rather portals and lessons that will be achieved by watching the film and making connections. I wanted to portray the emotions of feeling trapped and the feeling that time is fleeting while capturing them in a way where it feels like you’re trying to throw a punch in your dream, by this I mean the lessons learned and the battles the protagonist face are not easy and if he tries to solve them as hes done in the past he will fail. Another key element of this film is the sound design which happens to be mostly A.D.R. with some on set audio captured. This film Dives into emotions and circumstances that we may avoid but are ultimately inevitable. Another main focus of this production was to be unique but to also have a familiar yet high end cinematic feel with a minimal budget.
