Tony, the entrepreneurial and "herbally" educated day-one friend, arrives at Pablo's House only to find his bredda asleep, an afternoon drunken slumber no less than expected. The two go for a walk to find their secret spot in the rainforest to philosophize and relax with their customary intoxicants.

Director Biography - Tyler K Chamberlain

From the moment I held my first phone, photography became my passion. But in recent years, I've embraced filmmaking, discovering a new dimension to express my creativity.

After a year studying photography in Chicago, I realized my fascination with film, drawn by its demand for a broader skill set and its integration of photography into directing, producing, and acting roles.

Now, enrolled in ENMU Portales, New Mexico for digital filmmaking, I'm diving deeper into this art form, merging my love for photography with the boundless possibilities of visual storytelling.

Tyler Chamberlain has been awarded Merit Scholarships to study at both ENMU and Columbia College Chicago. He has also recieved Photography awards for various competitions.

Director Statement

In this film I explore the classic achetypes of the Sage and the Seeker in the Trinidadian youthful characters of Pablo and Tony. In the everyday hussle of Island life Pablo always manages to have time away from the grind but Tony can't see past the 24/7 money making life.
