Mark Valentine and his twin, Tim, both get covid, but one doesn’t get the vaccine shot, because of political reasons. When Tim dies of the disease, his friends and family reflect on what went on and why.

Director Biography - Kevin Rabas

Kevin Rabas leads the poetry and scriptwriting tracks at Emporia State. His films have shown across Kansas and Missouri, including “Strawberry Hill Fight Club,” a selection for the IFC KC film festival, the Kansas International Film Festival, and No Coast Film Festival. He has sixteen books, including Lisa’s Flying Electric Piano, a Nelson Book Award Winner and Kansas Notable Book. His plays have been produced across Kansas and on both coasts. Rabas served as the Poet Laureate of Kansas, 2017-2019.

A local Emporia filmmaker, Kevin Rabas works to capture Kansas stories both in short documentary and narrative films. In this case, Rabas focuses on a local story that perhaps has wider global impact.
