Director/Writer Ryan Joseph Perez was born in Brawley, California in 1991, and attended Calipatria High school in 2005 where he began filming skate boarding videos and other mischievous chaotic videos with his friends which occasionally landed him in trouble at school, upon returning from a 2 week suspension during his Sophomore year due to one of his videos he began studying film and drama through his school's drama club "Mad Drama Club" aiming his creativity in a more positive and less chaotic way, soon after he began producing short films with Mad Drama Club and occasionally presented them in front of his school, In 2009 he attended Imperial valley college where he studied graphic design and acting, notable short films from previous film festivals include Grace (2012), Search (2014), and The Devil's Dive Bar (2017)
