Tidal Alert
PFAS. GenX. Animal waste and plastics... The fishing community along the coast of North Carolina is sounding an urgent alarm. Tidal Alert explores the impacts of water quality on North Carolina coastal fisheries. The recreational and commercial fishing community identified five areas of concern to the Coastal Carolina Riverwatch organization, who commissioned the documentary film to help educate the public on these impacts that affect all those who live along and enjoy coastal communities. Although specific to North Carolina, these alarming issues are being experienced in many waterways and communities throughout the world.

Somewhere buried in storage, is a brittle 8mm reel of the first documentary I filmed showing the effects of pollution for a sixth-grade play. I guess you could call it the genesis of my filmmaking and it serves as one of the roots in my foundation as a storyteller.
Cher and I have a deep respect for nature and share a passion for the environment. Our work seems to find itself rooted in those causes, as well as in history. It's important to know where you've come from to know where you want to go and the person you are working to be. Together, we are enjoying the adventure and look forward to where our journey takes us together.
I’ve always loved the creative process, regardless of shape or form and as a result, I have a very diverse skill set that I have called upon throughout my career.
As a filmmaker, my greatest desire is to tell stories in the most beautiful way possible. The editing process is where the story comes to fruition… the ultimate culmination of creativity and collaboration.
