The Thistle Independent Film Nights are a series of networking events in which local and international filmmakers can showcase their work, pitch an idea or publicise an upcoming project to other independent filmmakers.
The event runs every two months in Banshee's Labyrinth cinema, Edinburgh, Scotland from 7:30pm to 10pm where filmmakers and film lovers are invited along to watch and engage with the creators of the works on show.
If your submitted project is chosen to be screened on the night you will be invited along to the event in which to present and also take part in a short Q&A session.
Attendees are then encouraged to enjoy the bar afterwards to network and make new connections, which is open until 3am.

International submissions are welcome, and if chosen to be screened we would appreciate a short video introduction to be played alongside your work.

The next event will be on June 4th 2015. Entry is £2 on the door.

Only one film per filmmaker

Films must have a run time of no more than 20 minutes including credits.

If you have been shown at a previous Thistle night you may submit again, however priority will be given to those who have not been selected.
