Director Statement

In Eastern mysticism, there is a land called the Land of "astonishment". This land is the place before the final stage of mystical conduct. At the stage of the land of "astonishment", "contemplation, thought, presence, astonishment and bewilderment" enters the seeker's heart and astonishes him, and he becomes confused and drowned in the storm of thought and knowledge.
He no longer knows who he is. He loses his apparent consciousness stored in his mental body. Like a semi-conscious person who knows he exists but does not know who he is, what his name is and where he is.
Basically, the path that a person takes to reach the destination and what he sees and experiences in this way is more important than reaching the destination. The goal has no meaning without crossing the path, and this meaning cannot be achieved without what we experience in this way. This is the endless path that man must take to reach a new understanding of himself...
Three people drink water from a spring. Drinking this water causes people to forget and get them lost. The first person is a shepherd who is a symbol of guidance. He gets lost, loses his sheep, and at the end of the film he finds neither himself nor his sheep. The second is a young girl and boy who have a beautiful view of the world. They only see beauty, even the death of the old woman is just a beautiful composition on the horizon of the village. And third, Zoleykha, a woman who travels this path to bury the last one of her family. Zoleykha is a seeker. The fountain chooses her to follow the path correctly and deep, and finally founds Originality of existence. The old mule man and his wife are the only ones who seem to know everything about the spring and the path. They know why and where Zoleykha is missing and what they must do to find her. They light a fire and take the right path and finally find her. But the real losers in this story are the villagers. They have forgotten anything about the spring and the path, they do not look for Zoleykha in the right place, they go the wrong way and they also do not know when they were found.
And "This endless path" is the path in which man is fried like iron in fire and formed and watered by the hands of the blacksmith until he finally becomes something higher than his origin and is ready to reap like a sickle.
