The film "This Could Be a Circus" focuses on the existence of numerous unused buildings and locations in Zagreb, Croatia and at the same time the homelessness of art - in this case, the circus.
This is Nikola Mijatović's first film, in which, with the help of Josip Bolonić and a few friends, he deals with the topic of the local position of still young contemporary circus art, which is also regionally applicable.
"Abandoned objects left to daily decay indicate the negligence and carelessness of those who own them, as well as their insensitivity to the social and artistic needs of people who live and create NOW.
WAITING FOR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FUTURE:
- to turn the former factory into a parking lot, a shopping centre, a residential and business complex
- to build new kindergartens, schools, squares or business centres
- to build a new football field or fitness centre with a swimming pool
- to build, for example, Justice Square, because this city does not have it yet, and it is not possible without it

Some people fantasize about the CIRCUS because they deal with it - and they don't have the space to work.
These deserted spaces, left to decay, have everything they need: HEIGHT, WIDTH, DEPTH AND SOUL.
EACH OF THEM COULD BE A CIRCUS !!!
