The wind is blowing through the street, the beginning of ruination.
Social movements, despite governmental suppression, invariably provoke social change. The "Woman, Life, Freedom" protests in Iran exemplify this universal truth. However, my intrigue lies not merely in the protests themselves, but in the events preceding and succeeding this pivotal moment.
The decision to engage in this collective endeavor was as formidable as grappling with its aftermath. Iranian women faced the daunting choice between remaining indoors, adhering to their daily routines, or venturing onto the streets to join the protest. This uncertainty encroached upon their everyday lives.
In my view, the realization that every decision carries consequences necessitates traversing a solitary path of self-discovery. As an experiment, I sought to immerse the audience in this solitude, transforming them into potential spectators woven into the fabric of the narrative. Consequently, those confined within the confines of their homes encounter a protagonist who dares to venture outside, becoming an active participant in a social movement, thus undergoing a transformation of their own.
