Omar Bradosti is a filmmaker from Erbil, Iraq. He studied film at the Escac film school in Barcelona, Spain, and developed his skills and experience working with different filmmakers on the set as assistant director and as a film editor since 2018. In 2019, he worked as an assistant director on the short film “The Night”, which was shot in Barcelona, and, in 2021, on the short film “Artemisa”.
Omar has written and directed two short films “The Weekend Thief”, currently in distribution, and Washed Away, in post-production, and has now started working on the development of his first feature film, a story that originates from Erbil.
When he is not working on his projects, he joins other filmmakers to broaden his experience on the set and as a writer, and watches as many films as possible, plays guitar, reads books, and explores the places with his camera.
