The stories that were told

The students met local people and organizations of S. Mamede de Infesta and listen the stories of those who live and who lived in the community around their school. Here are some of those stories!

Director Biography - Associação de Ludotecas do Porto /Anilupa´s workshop participants: 4th D grade students of EB da Ermida School.

The film was directed by Associação de Ludotecas do Porto /Anilupa´s workshop participants: 4th D grade students of EB da Ermida School, who were 9-10 years old at the time and had no previous filmmaking experience. The young filmmakers were the protagonist of all main processes of making this film - from script writing to making the storyboard, construction of the puppets and the sets as well as animation using stop motion technique and voice-over. Sound and video editing were done by Animation centre ANILUPA, educational and cultural centre that develops a wide variety of activities in the field of animation. Anilupa aims to encourage active participation of all members of the public by giving the possibility to get involved in film production, to learn about the emergence of cinema in interactive way and to participate in other educational and creative activities. The filmography of ANILUPA at the moment contains about 200 films, made by children, young people and adults from various organizations.
