Director Statement

New writers and executive producers, owners of REBELUS productions;-Data Belema Don-pedro and Olanrewaju Adeniran originally wrote the movie The Stone Threw Ripples. My inspiration to be part of helping animate this unique story in conjunction with them is based on the story's complex themes. It hinges on the concept that grey lines exist in a world where we hope to delineate black and white. It was important to navigate each character's dilemma while weaving a simple film to which most marginalized individuals could relate. There will never be a good reason to do anything untoward, but I hope we build a world where people never have to make that choice.
