Hi! My name is Pierre Lalancette, and I'm a writer from Quebec, Canada.
When I first saw the original series of Battlestar Galactica, I knew I wanted to be part of the movie-making industry. But as a small boy from a little French-speaking village up north, the odds were against me. But my passion for the moving picture only grew stronger with time. After years of compromises, I took the leap of faith and went back to school in special FX. It fulfilled most of my passions: Films, computers, drawing, and creativity. So I worked on big Hollywood movies, TV shows, and AAA video games. At that point, all my writing was motivated by necessity. But I felt the calling of the script, as it is the most creative part of a movie.
