There's A Hole In My Wall
A recent college graduate struggles with anxiety and paranoia when a strange hole mysteriously appears in the wall of her house. After attempting to cover it, she realizes it can move, grow, and absorb objects into itself. She tries hiring a repairman to fix it, but this interaction only shows her that no one else can see the hole. She starts second guessing herself, going to multiple therapists while tracking the hole's movements to record its existence. Her life begins to revolve around the hole as she realizes it's alive, buying a gun in an act of desperation and fear for her safety. It grows larger and begins making sounds, but she discovers that music can delay these changes and begins relying on her speaker to stop her problem. One night the power goes out in her house, stopping the music and causing a creature to escape from the hole. She tries to fight back but realizes it's too late as she accepts her demise.

Robin Manganaro is a midwest filmmaker currently based in Chicago, Illinois. They primarily are entrenched in exploring and navigating the nuances of human emotion through comedy and satire. Manganaro is currently studying at Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in Screenwriting, Directing, and Production Design.
This story covers horror in an untraditional way, focussing on the psychological fears of loneliness and mental health preventing one from growing and living life. The hole acts as an embodiment of these fears, keeping the protagonist from working, leaving, or having any human interaction until the hole inevitably leads to dire consequences.
