Experiencing Interruptions?

The path of noise

An intimate film essay that explores the affectional bonds in human groups that use music to express themselves non-verbally. With material recorded over two decades, in different formats and latitudes, the film is a reappropriation of the images of different Rock bands on tour that reflects on the feelings and emotions that create ties and identity traits for the marginalized, using the ideas of the Arab historian Ibn Khaldun on nomadic and sedentary societies as a guideline.

Director Biography - Rodrigo Jardón

Photographer graduated from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and from the Photographic Production Seminar at Centro de la Imagen. The axis of his work are the themes of identity and rootedness in contexts of violence or migration, mainly in places made invisible by global politics, seeking to expose the intimate relationships between places and their subjects through emotional landscapes and subverted narratives.
