"Everyone thought that I would kill myself after Picasso left me, but I didn’t do it to not give him this satisfaction".
Henriette Theodora Markovitch, photographer.
Best known as Dora Maar, born in 1907, best remembered for being Picasso’s companion and muse for a decade. The project draws inspiration from the figure of this woman, pioneer of female emancipation. Before she met Picasso, she was already a well-known photographer. The relationship with one of the greatest painters of modernity will certainly leave the aftermath, but it will not affect the strength and resilience of his character.
