Director Statement

The film "Τhe last key" was shot for the course of film direction, in the first semester of the film school.
It should be a film with no dialogue, no music, no camera movement, with a duration not over three minutes.
This is my first audiovisual creation, a super short film -a film exercise- which tells the story of the final confrontation between two men for the possession of a precious old key.
I chose to approach this theme as a modern "urban western", where one of the two blackmails the other into an encounter, which ultimately results in a duel with a definitive winner.
