The imagined village

In a valley on the Ecuadorian coast, Pedro Pablo Gómez keeps memories of a time of economic boom, since in the fifties it became a prosperous coffee trading point. During All Souls' Day, the quiet rhythm of the village is changed by the arrival of people who come to reconnect with their living and deceased relatives. From an observational perspective, this documentary proposes a reflection on the cycles of life and their transformations.
