My name is Yanis Graça and I am a French director. I have always loved telling stories and cinema is the medium that allows me to express myself fully. I am enrolled in an international 3D animation school located in Arles (France).

Director Statement

I made this very short film as part of my studies at MOPA school. My mission was to create a one-minute film on the theme of food. I wanted to create a dark and disturbing atmosphere, both in terms of image and sound, to reflect the disturbed mind of the main character. The main challenge for me was to make the whole film by myself.

The main theme of this film is food waste. This topic is very important to me because it is closely related to other issues such as overconsumption, deforestation and global warming and many others. I also like the idea that food concerns each of us. Through this film, I don't pretend to change the world, but I wanted to address this subject that is close to my heart.

I hope that this film will be selected in festivals to give it a second life. I had a lot of pleasure working on it and I would like to share it with a larger audience, beyond its school dimension.
