The butterfly effect

At the beginning of the animation, the cycle of consumption within a capitalist society is presented in relation to a grandmother who has personally experienced this recurring cycle. As the narrative progresses, it reveals a world that is heavily polluted and filled with waste. In this world, we can see the conversation between the grandmother and her granddaughter.

Jinseo Lee, a creative animator, and artist, has graduated from NABA with a major in Media Design specializied in Animation. With a strong background in fine art and a deep passion for various artistic styles, she has gained valuable experience as a designer in different companies and as a freelance animator. Jinseo Lee now focuses on creating impactful animated stories that address social issues. Drawing inspiration from animation pioneers and modern artists, she aims to use creative techniques to convey thoughtful messages.

Climate change is the most pressing issue now. I aim to help people be aware of the climate change issues that we can easily forget in our daily lives. I aim to encourage viewers to reevaluate the consequences of human activities on the environment and provide a moment of reflection.
