Melissa Priske
Nació en Guadalajara, Jalisco el 8 de Junio de 1992, graduada de la Licenciatura en Artes Escénicas para la Expresión Dancística de la Universidad de Guadalajara en el 2016.

Ha presentado su trabajo en países como Mexico, Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Alemania, Hungría, Austria, Grecia y España.

Cofundadora del Colectivo Extracto en el 2013. Becaria de Proyecta 2015 otorgada por Secretaría de Cultura de Jalisco en colaboración con Lupita de Santiago para el desarrollo de la obra de titulación Hermano Humano Danza Teatro. En 2016 es becaria de Proyecta Traslados para participar en el XXI Encuentro Internacional de Danza: La Habana ciudad en movimiento en paisajes urbanos en La Habana Cuba con la obra performática “A donde fueres haz lo que vieres” del Colectivo Extracto. De julio de 2016 a abril de 2017 forma parte del Laboratorio de creación coreográfica México-Alemania, proyecto de colaboración internacional SCJ, Goethe Institut y Fabrik Potsdam beneficiado por SCJ con Proyecta Traslados para su conclusión en Potsdam, Alemania presentando No dejemos en el Olvido en dirección colectiva con Ana Paula Uruñuela e Iraís Avila en el Centro Internacional para la danza y las artes del movimiento (Fabrik Internationales Zentrum für Tanz und Bewegungskunst). Participa como asistente de Dirección en la obra interdisciplinaria “Tiempos” (Fragmento de Tiempo de Latidos) estrenada en el XXII Festival Internacional de Danza en Paisajes Urbanos Habana Vieja Ciudad en Movimiento y “Tiempo de Latidos” que cuenta con el apoyo del programa “Proyecta Producciones 2017” de la Secretaría de Cultural del Estado de Jalisco para su desarrollo. Desde el año 2017 es parte del proyecto “Todos somos Migrantes” de Georgina Gastelum como interprete.

Directora de la obra Flor de jericó de Danza Vértical siendo Becaria de Proyecta 2017 otorgada por Secretaría de Cultura de Jalisco para su Producción.

En 2018 es Seleccionada para participar en el programa de entrenamiento “Journey to the Center” de la compañía ZeroPlus Ballet en Budapest (Beneficiada para asistir con el apoyo Proyecta Traslados 2018 de la Secretaria de Cultura del Estado de Jalisco).

En su trayectoria ha tomado cursos y talleres con maestros y compañías como Gyula Berger,Bandaloop, Rafael Carlín, Carla Díaz Vélez, Guillermo Hernández, Anna Cook, Arcadio Carbonell, Jiandy Martínez, Israel Chavira, Vincent Morelle, Guillermo Valdez, Hiram Abif, Paloma Martínez, Jay Jolley, Jaqui Dumont, Steve Rooks, Emmanuel Grivet, Narciso Sánchez, Martha Hickman, Larissa Gonzalez, Meztli Robles, Adriana Quinto, Shanti Vera, Pablo Serna, Fred Herrera y Makiko Tominaga. Es además instructora certificada en Yoga- Naturópata por la Academia Mexicana de Yoga.

Actualmente cuenta con el apoyo de PECDA por parte de la Secretaria de Cultura para continuar trabajando en su trabajo coreografico con la obra Melancolía.

Melissa Priske
She was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco on June 8, 1992, graduated from the Bachelor of Performing Arts for Dance Expression at the University of Guadalajara in 2016.

She has presented her work in countries such as Mexico, the United States, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Greece and Spain.

Co-founder of the Extract Collective in 2013. Proyecta Fellow 2015 awarded by the Ministry of Culture of Jalisco in collaboration with Lupita de Santiago for the development of the work titled Human Brother Dance Theater. In 2016 she received a scholarship from Proyecta Traslados to participate in the XXI International Dance Encounter: Havana, city on the move in urban landscapes in Havana, Cuba, with the performance work “A donde fueres do lo vieres” by Colectivo Extract. From July 2016 to April 2017, it is part of the Mexico-Germany Choreographic Creation Laboratory, an international collaboration project SCJ, Goethe Institut and Fabrik Potsdam benefited by SCJ with Proyecta Traslados for its conclusion in Potsdam, Germany, presenting Let's not forget Collective direction with Ana Paula Uruñuela and Iraís Avila at the International Center for Dance and Movement Arts (Fabrik Internationales Zentrum für Tanz und Bewegungskunst). She participates as assistant director in the interdisciplinary work "Tiempos" (Fragment of Time of Heartbeats) premiered at the XXII International Festival of Dance in Urban Landscapes Old Havana City in Movement and "Time of Heartbeats" which has the support of the program "Proyecta Producciones 2017 ”of the Cultural Secretariat of the State of Jalisco for its development. Since 2017 she is part of the project "We are all Migrants" by Georgina Gastelum as interpreter.

Director of the work Flor de jericó of Danza Vertica being a 2017 Project Fellow awarded by the Jalisco Ministry of Culture for its Production.

In 2018, she was selected to participate in the ZeroPlus Ballet company “Journey to the Center” training program in Budapest (Benefited to attend with the support of Project Transfers 2018 from the Secretary of Culture of the State of Jalisco).

She currently has the support of PECDA from the Secretary of Culture to continue working on her choreographic work with the play Melancolía.
