The blue of salt
The blue of the salt is the journey of a young woman bruised by a mourning who tries to find peace in her memory.
The train on which we embark with her is a night crossing until dawn, between dream and reality.
She finds there the desire to live and be present to the world.

Alice Bohl was born in France. She studied at the Fine Art School of Marseille, then she specialised in animation at EMCA-EMCI in Angoulême. After graduating she directed the short animated film Pirogues for the Irish production Barley Films and Les Fleurs Sauvages. Her film travelled in several international festivals and happily won some awards. Her pursuit of animation led her to Paris, where she worked on Marguerite Abouet and Clément Oubrerie's Aya de Yopougon, then to Angoulême on Michael Dudok de Wit's The Red Turtle. She developed her short film The Blue of salt in an author residency at La Maison des auteurs d'Angoulême, then the film was produced by Les Films du Poisson Rouge.
