Born on December 20, 1980 in Huaraz, Peru. He lived in Lima from a very young age. Despite the fact that most of his academic training was self-taught, Terom studied literature at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) and film at the University of La Plata, Buenos Aires (UNALP)
When he returned to Lima in 2013, he worked as an actor in several independent feature films, being one of the most recognized "Videofilia and other viral syndromes" by Juan Daniel Molero. In subsequent years, after sharing so much time with other Peruvian filmmakers, Terom began to show increasing interest in directing his own audiovisual projects and worked as co-director of the short film "Real Couples" with his lifelong friend, the young Peruvian poet and filmmaker Tilsa Otta.
In 2016, he made his debut as director and screenwriter with "Lizard Skin", an experimental fiction that criticized the media portraying the social and political atmosphere of that time. The film´s reception and criticism were modest but favorable.
Currently Terom is working on a large number of productions, both as an actor and as a filmmaker.
Sometimes second's best.
