The international festival FIKTIVA - TheaterFilmFest (TFF) is the only German film festival that selects audiovisual works in which the theatre gets special attention and appreciation. The priority is theatre, as an intermediate discipline in film. The similarities and differences between film and theatre become clear. This is an opportunity for everyone, self-taught artists, students and professionals, to present their films and/or videos to an audience in Germany in two cities, Düsseldorf and Dortmund. It’s a celebration of film and theatre.

Audienceaward: The winner of the audience award will be invited with his/her film to screen it in the Filmmuseum Düsseldorf the 7th
of November 2015.
You get to show your film or video to an experienced audience. Your film will be appreciated and take part in debates by members of the Fachhochschule Dortmund, the Schauspielhaus Dortmund, the Heinrich Heine University and the Filmmuseum Düsseldorf.

We are accepting submissions from everywhere and anyone (self-taught artists, students and professionals). The person submitting the film must have had a major creative role in the production of the film/video.

We are looking for any genre and style of film.
