The Encounter

A reality show named "The Encounter" meets between people who carry out hostile activities to the injured parties.
The present episode deals with:
Jaser Al-Abassi (28) a killer who stabbed to death a twenty one
year old girl serves a sentence of thirty five years.
Moty Friedman (56) is the girl's devastated father who was
offered $300,000 in order to participate in the show. At first he
refused but after discussing the matter with his family he
wanted to look in the murderer's eyes and hear what he has to say.
And in this show, with this heavy burden, they meet.
During the conversation when the cameras are off, Jaser tries
to explain to Moty the reason for his actions but when the
cameras are on he justifies his deeds.

Director Biography - Matan Nesher

Matan nesher, director, producer, assistant director and photographer.
Born in Tel aviv, Israel. served as a combet soldier at the "Golani unit" began his career as a underwater photographer.
During cinema studies he taught cinema for kids and Television studio for the third year students.Graduated studies at 2015.
since then he writes, directs, assistant director and a camra man.
