Marlon Morales Guerrero (Tijuana, Mexico, 1997). Director / Writer
He studied cinematography at the University of Las Californias International. His short film ¨Emma or (The inconveniences of a suicide) ¨ won the category of ¨Best Of Show¨in the Regional Festival of Tijuana FotoFilm in its 2nd edition.
His short film ¨Blood and Rain¨ (Cortando Sangre) participated in the 15th edition of the Monterrey International Film Festival¨ and in the official selection of Lúdico Latinamerican Short Film Festival, among others.
¨Blue Hours¨is his latest short film and it´s currently circling film festivals around the world. He also recently did a zoom short film called ¨Hypocrisis¨ about a priest who receives online confessions from his followers. Hypocrsis won best zoom narrative in the film fest FICMA.
This is a tense and tragic story about the never-ending violence against women in Mexico and the system that allows it. I want to thank you for your time reviewing and watching our short film, hope you like it and be compelled to accept it in your amazing film festivals.
