Director Statement

The Writer was created to be a fun and poignant insight into what happens to most writers who start to second guess their work. We wanted to create an atmosphere in the film that felt inclusive into the ins and outs of the Writer's mind and how sometimes the characters created can manipulate, shape, and determine the outcome of a story.

The real question in the writer is "what is real and what is not or is anything really happening at all?"
