Director Statement

The Wonder-Makers is a short film that follows the conversation between a wise elder butterfly, Amma, and her young wing-lings as they observe and ponder humans. I wanted the story to feel like an anthropological perspective on mankind through the unique lens and voice of a butterfly.

I believe that Art, in whatever form it comes through, is a powerful vehicle for transformation. When we look closely, we hear the sacred echo, we see the “Godwinks” from the Universe calling us back to what is really quite simple- To join with creation, to make beauty and to spread light.

I get tremendous joy in encouraging and witnessing others as they reconnect with their creative spirit and I hope this film inspires all who see it to create. We are all born Wonder Makers.

“The Creator will never cease in calling us back to our purpose. To join in creation. To make Beauty. To spread Light”
