The Women's Festival is great! Suzi is a on it from start to finish when communicating with filmmakers. The venues were varied and unique. And of course, It wouldn't have been a Philly trip without all the sisterly affection!
My friend and I drove from Toronto and it was so worth it. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Thank you for selecting my film short, African Animals’ Lullaby, to be part of the amazing Women’s Film Festival 2019. As a first time filmmaker, I appreciated the genuine support I received from Phuong Nguyen, co-founder and CEO. At every opportunity, Suzi Nash, Programming Director, honored the film directors by publicly recognizing us at each program, interviewing the filmmakers after each screening, and even skyping others that couldn’t attend, all which helped the networking and friendships. Kayla O’Donnell, Corporate and Community Relations Director, shared her ideas on marketing. The all-volunteer staff gave us 10 days of fascinating films and related events at different venues around Philadelphia. I was so honored to be part of this terrific festival supporting women in all their roles!!

This is one of my most favorite festivals I have been to so far.
The programming is solid and it is an honor to be selected, the panels get better and better each year, they work hard to cultivate an environment that nurtures networking, and I have met some of my now closest friends in the filmmaking world here.
The best part about this festival is how genuinely solidly they support women's film. If you are a filmmaker making films about women's issues, you qualify. If you are a female filmmaker making films about any issue you want to tell through your voice, you qualify.
Hands down a fantastic festival all around!!

This was such a wonderful festival! The communication, location and people were fantastic. I was really impressed by this festival and it felt as if it has been running for many, many years. I can't wait to submit and attend again.
