Director Statement

The White Goddess is a surrealistic and darkly comedic thriller. Rebecca has retreated to a secluded chalet in Northern Canada to write. One day, during a walk, she comes upon Andrew, who lies unconscious in the snow. She brings him into the chalet and looks after him. In short time, they get to know each other and he allows himself to get close to her. Rebecca has developed an unhealthy obsession with the concept of a powerful pre-Hellenic goddess during the course of her writing research. This obsession begins to spill out onto the world and the man now unwittingly entangled in her web.
